    As President and co-founder of Quinn’s Auction Galleries, David Quinn has played a key role in the company’s growth and success over the past 30 years. Growing up in Washington, D.C., David developed a love for history and antiques, which naturally led him to a career in the auction industry. His expertise spans a wide range of fine and decorative arts, with a particular focus on cataloging multi-million-dollar collections of Asian art, including Japanese netsuke.

    Beyond the auction world, David has been an active leader in the business community, serving as President of the Baltimore chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). His leadership and dedication to ethical business practices have helped establish Quinn’s as a premier auction house, known for its transparency, professionalism, and commitment to serving families with care and respect.

    Matthew Quinn, a second-generation leader in the family business, has been instrumental in expanding the Quinn family’s commitment to helping seniors navigate life’s major transitions. As an experienced appraiser, realtor, and downsizing expert, he understands the emotional and logistical challenges of estate planning and asset disposition. Through his work at Quinn’s Auction Galleries, LocalThrift, and Quinn’s Realty and Estate Services, Matthew has guided countless families through the process of preserving their legacies while ensuring financial security.

    Since 2010, Matthew has also been a featured appraiser on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow, specializing in Pottery & Porcelain and Decorative Arts. His expertise has helped many individuals uncover the true value of their heirlooms, reinforcing his passion for helping seniors and their families make informed decisions about their treasured belongings. He has also appeared on Market Warriors and various news programs, sharing insights on appraisal, estate planning, and downsizing.

    Thomas Andrews’ passion for antiques and history was sparked at a young age, thanks to his great grandparents, who shared their love of collecting antiques and glassware. This close relationship also gave Thomas firsthand experience in the emotional process of downsizing and sorting through a loved one’s home as they aged.

    After college, Thomas moved to Washington, D.C., where he began his professional journey at Quinn’s Auction Gallery in Falls Church, Virginia. This time at Quinn’s was transformative, providing him with invaluable knowledge of the estate sale and auction industry. It was there that Thomas discovered his passion for helping people navigate life’s transitions, particularly in parting with possessions that held deep sentimental value. This experience became the foundation of his career, inspiring him to pursue a path dedicated to guiding others through the challenges of downsizing and estate liquidation.
